  1. Thank you for including my presentation “What’s My Job: An Effective Career Orientation Program For Middle School Students” on your list of “excellent Middle School Career Exploration PowerPoint presentations”. I appreciate you doing this.

I have found that this session teaches students about careers and also helps to improve parent-middle school student communication.

Please do keep in touch with me and let me know if you have any questions about the program or if you would like information concerning my other career programs for students ranging from middle school to graduate school and for professionals as well. I am also very interested in your feedback on your experiences with this program.

    Again, many thanks.

  2. Educators concerned with Career Development for students in Middle School might also be concerned with helping the students transition to High School (9th Grade). Thus, I am taking the liberty of recommending the following Ning Discussion Group to readers of this BLOG. http://freshmantransition.ning.com/ . Scott Habeeb, an assistant principal in Virginia, organized a group of nearly 200 professional educators who share information on making a successful transition to 9th grade.

Disclosure: While I have become an active participant on the Freshman Transition Ning I did not originate it, do not control its day to day operation, and do not know Scott personally. I do enjoy participating actively in the Ning. Scott has chosen to designate me as a “Featured Member”, which I do appreciate.
